"The downside"

So far nothing to say, except that in hindsight the " sopravvitto ", or the extra expenses of prisoners, is second only to a few euro entry in this river of money.

What happens to a meal prepared by the prison administration?
Well, they are snubbed. This is not junk food or inadequate rations, and the quality is acceptable, but sometimes the inmates are refusing to even try it. It is estimated that about 10 trucks distributed in the cells, half return loads back again. Inmates like to cook for themselves and refuse to taste the food.
Consequence?
Two-thirds of the food prepared and paid by the State (drawing from the pockets of citizens and indirectly through tax revenues) is thrown in the trash, without even being touched.
you understand: the money of honest citizens are thrown in the garbage at the hands of criminals locked up in prisons. Every prisoner may in fact spend about € 130 per week, with a ceiling that can actually be lifted, by consent of the judge or the Director of the prison system.
