in Italy is estimated that four out of five buildings are energy inefficient. Well over 23 million development, for which recovery could be a major boost for the Italian economy. In Europe it is estimated that every year thrown out the window of € 270 trillion to inefficiencies in buildings (source: Eurisma). In Italy's € 11 billion generated by the deduction of 55% (thanks to four years in which 800,000 were recovered accommodation) have created 55,000 jobs.
The question is: " How many jobs could be generated if these were converted into 270 trillion restructuring, instead of burning them? "
we consider that according to EU Directive 31/2010, starting from 2021 the private buildings will be at nearly zero energy. However, there is a regulatory deficit, which consists in giving too much, if not exclusive importance, with new buildings, without considering sufficiently the need for retrofitting of existing buildings, which represent 40% of energy consumption in Europe.
